The Final Say

If you go to a UCI race they will have a pit area that you can take you bike to and blow off the mud and get it fresh and clean again. Anyone that has raced cyclocross knows how awesome it is to have a fresh clean bike to ride. In some races getting a bike evey time you pass the pit is possiable. BUT the thing is you have to have a water sourse AND there is usually a limited amount of sprayers to go around. So having your own is a big dela. You could go low tech and have a weed sprayer and a brush but that does not have the pressure that you need. Enter RYOBI with theri 18V cordless high pressure sprayer. It even has an attachment for an external water sourse like a bucket or a lake. And it has an another attachment for a 2L bottle! Hallelujah! So I thought.

So this thing for a cyclocross bike wash sucks and you should NOT buy it. Its all show ans no go. 320psi is not enough pressure, and it takes a minute to prime the tube. So your going to be standing there in the pit while this thing is running and no water will be coming out of it at all. And then when it does it will be nothing to be proud of. The 2L bottle just does not work. I treid several adaptors and several different bottles with the same exact results. Its trash. If you do get one I would recomend something with <500+ psi. So one cowbell for this onebecause it does work when hooked up to a hose.
